It should also be known that Shooting Guardian has a very useful passive that will double his ammunition count.

It should be known, however, that Chung cannot reach his Berserk Mode if he has 2 or less beads filled. The main reason it looks different is to show you that your Berserk Mode is ready and fully functional. The way to unlock it is just like unlocking other awakening beads, getting enough hits. His 3rd awakening bead at first glance, looks like its locked, with chains covering it.

Skills that normally use one or two, or even all your cannonball supply don’t effect your ammunition count. In Berserk Mode, not only does Chung gain a slight boost in his attack strength and skills, but more importantly, Chung gains Unlimited Ammunition. This means that he has limitless ammo. This is proof that Berserk Mode is activated.
